Oh man, I've been meaning to post these pictures for MONTHS but with my laptop being out of order, I finally have some motivation to go through my pictures and play around in Photoshop.
Anyways, several months ago, My high school's anatomy classes got to experiment on some baby chickens [nothing drastic, they just have to give it some medication to stimulate growth of their combs. Or so I assume.] Some of my friends knew one of the anatomy teachers so for like a month we spent our lunches in the room where the chicks were being kept and we ended up "adopting" a few of them.
This chick here, number 10, was my adopted baby. I nicknamed him [technically they're all female but I called it a "he" anyways] Diego because I'm a friggin' nerd. [named after Diego Armando from Phoenix Wright of course] He was SO good, very photogenic too. I miss him.
notes: #1-2: a couple of the very first pictures I took of him. He was so tiny~ #3: That's uh... poo he's trying to eat there. No Diego, no! #5: That's my most favorite picture. I don't know, it's just so 'wtf.' I brought my Torterra plushie that day specifically for a chikie photshoot, haha. #7: the last picture I ever took of Diego. He wasn't feeling very well at all that day, hence the lethargic look. It's kinda weird because we thought that was the last day the chickies were there for experimenting and then they were gonna be taken home by some of the students. We came back the next day to see them one last time and Diego wasn't there. I thought that someone must have taken him home but then I learned that the chicks were gonna be kept there an extra week for experimenting...
Apparently poor Diego died later on that day or that night after I took that last picture. Poor baby.
