OH GOD I ACTUALLY FINISHED SOMETHING DIGITAL. Goddamn, what a massive art slump I'm in. ; ; It seems like all my artistic energy is being put toward the never-ending AP Art projects [I'm one pic behind] and even when I feel like drawing... I remember that I have a DS. :[

ANYWAYS about the picture. This is a... birthday present I think for =TheLastSummoner whose birthday was... last July. |D Happy veryveryveryveryeveryveryVERY belated bithday~ <3 Many apologies for it being so damn late. ; ; It won't happen again, really...!

This birdy is from a series =TheLastSummoner is writing. The Airian is from the same universe as the Draconian [link] which a drew quite a while ago [yay improvement]. Expect to be seeing some more creatures like these in the future~

Besides the description that was given, I based this guy's design off of a Harpy Eagle, one of my favorite birds of prey. :> They're pretty but dear GOD the wing patterns nearly killed me. Felt good to be coloring digitally again though.

No crits plz. I know there's several huge anatomy errors etc but I just want to be done with this. Should have been finished months ago...

Wow what a creature! I love all the detail and the shading on this! My favorite aprt has to be how you drew he head the character has such a determined and prideful look it's so awsome!
